Following the successful kickoff of this year’s partnership with Major League Fishing (MLF), Ten Square Games is expanding its presence in the U.S. fishing community through immersive in-game activations tied to major real-world MLF competitions. The latest initiative brings the MLF Bass Pro Tour B&W Trailer Hitches Heavy Hitters presented by Bass Pro Shops all-star event to the mobile world, continuing a partnership that connects professional anglers with millions of Fishing Clash players around the globe.
Strategic cooperation targeting the U.S. market
This partnership reflects Ten Square Games’ broader strategy to strengthen its position in the United States – currently the company’s largest market by revenue. With all MLF competitions taking place in iconic American waters and fishing being a cherished pastime across generations, this cooperation creates a natural connection between the virtual and real-world experiences that resonate with Fishing Clash’s audience.

Heavy Hitters – Smith Mountain Lake goes virtual (May 15 – 23)
The second in-game activation under this year’s partnership will run in parallel with the real-life life MLF B&W Trailer Hitches Heavy Hitters all-star event, taking place May 17 – 22, at Smith Mountain Lake in Franklin County, Virginia, where 30 anglers will compete for a $100,000 top prize over four rounds.
In Fishing Clash, players will take part in a week-long in-game event beginning May 15 at 12:00 PM UTC, set at a fishery that MLF frequently visits – Toledo Bend Reservoir. Participants who complete event challenges will earn the third ticket required to qualify for the Grand Finale in August, with guaranteed in-game rewards including pearls and vanity items. Players can also climb the leaderboards for a chance to earn extra prizes.
Special Heavy Hitters features include inter alia exclusive MLF challenges with unique bass species and upgradable lures and vanity items such as MLF-themed card backgrounds, avatars, and profile frames.
REDCREST 2025 – setting the tone for the season
The collaboration launched with the MLF’s REDCREST 2025 circuit, held in real life between April 3 – 6 at Lake Guntersville, Alabama, and mirrored in Fishing Clash through a dedicated in-game event from March 31 to April 7. It marked the first 2025 qualifier in Fishing Clash’s tournament series, awarding players their first ticket toward the Grand Finale. The in-game event recreated the spirit of REDCREST with a fully overhauled Lake Guntersville fishery, MLF branded offers, and leaderboard competitions, drawing strong participation and engagement from the global Fishing Clash community.
Expanding the partnership beyond the screen
Ten Square Games is the official title sponsor of the prestigious Angler of the Year (AOY) awards across MLF’s top circuits, including the Bass Pro Tour, Tackle Warehouse Invitationals, Toyota Series Presented by Phoenix Boats, and Phoenix Bass Fishing League Presented by T-H Marine. The partnership between Ten Square Games and Major League Fishing began in 2023 and has grown steadily ever since, reinforcing the company’s presence in the professional angling community.
This year, the collaboration introduces a completely new element – real-world rewards for in – game achievements. The Top 5 players in the Grand Finale will be awarded exclusive MLF – branded prize packs, allowing them to proudly identify as part of the MLF player community. These premium packs include Autographed MLF Angler Jerseys, Bubba Sculpin Fishing Knives, a selection of high – quality fishing gear (weights, hooks, lures, poppers), and various MLF – branded merchandise.
