This new feature offers significant gameplay diversification and marks another stage in the development of the Fishing Clash community. A completely different type of gameplay brings a fresh character to the existing competition between clans and cooperation among clan members.

The Arena responds to the changing needs of both long-time players and those entering the world of virtual fishing. The Fishing Clash team continually works to provide players with new experiences and challenges, strengthening their sense of community. Everyone has a role in their clan and can contribute to its success. New functionalities appear as players level up, allowing new players to gradually become familiar with the game. This enables new players to join clans, making the competition more dynamic.

New features and the social nature of the game

The Arena is a short gameplay format that gathers all clan members in the game at the same time to complete a common challenge. Clan members prepare throughout the week by completing assigned tasks, improving their rods, and enhancing their skills. When Arena time arrives, everyone faces the common challenge, striving to earn as many points as possible. Each fish caught has a specific point value, and the limited time to catch it adds extra excitement. The final match can determine the clan’s ranking.

The Arena is a mode governed by unique rules: exclusive fishing spots, a specific set of fish, fishing methods, and the ability to customize rods for specific targets. Fishing in the Arena is more challenging because the total number of fish is limited, and each one caught adds a specific number of points to the total scoring of the Clan Match. Additionally, players have a certain time to reel in each fish, and the varying rarity of fish also affects the points awarded for catching them. To prepare for the Arena, players can develop new rods tailored to the specific type of challenge. These rods allow clan members to strategize which fish species to target – the plentiful common ones or rarer ones that score higher but are more difficult to catch. Additionally, during Arena fishing, players can take advantage of a dedicated tool (Critical Strike) that allows for quicker reeling in of the catch, making it possible to catch even the toughest fish.

The Arena exemplifies one of the key directions in the game’s further development, addressing the needs of both long-term players and new users. Fishing Clash is a comprehensive, multi-level game offering endless entertainment. The development strategy currently focuses on diversifying gameplay types and improving the quality of player experiences. This ensures that the game remains a dynamic and evolving platform, connecting people with similar interests.

Fishing Clash and Major League Fishing (MLF) established a groundbreaking partnership in July 2023, bringing the excitement of real fishing tournaments into the mobile game. This collaboration allows players to experience the fishing spots used in MLF tournaments. The latest fishery prepared in cooperation with MLF takes place on the St. Lawrence River, where players can participate in in-game events mirroring the final stage of the 2024 MLF Pro Bass Tour.

The partnership with MLF bridges the virtual and real worlds of fishing, offering fans unique and immersive adventures. Additionally, Fishing Clash is the sponsor of the prestigious Angler of the Year award in four major MLF leagues.
