Last weekend Wrocław became a Mecca for game designers, graphic designers, developers – in short, everyone passionate about gamedev and determined to make their own game in 48 hours. They all gathered in the Institute of Computer Science of the University of Wrocław to participate in the Sensei Game Jam. Three of our colleagues from TSG took it upon themselves to organize the whole event from scratch and we’re all awfully proud, as the event was a great success! The task of the participants was to create a game (in teams or alone) that’s centered on a theme: ‘Wait, are we the bad guys?’ The results were quite stunning:

  • 116 participants
  • 35 games made
  • Tons of burgers and pizzas eaten
  • Lots of fun and knowledge acquired 😉
  • 4 games awarded by the public and TSG

Ten Square Games was more than happy to sponsor meals and gifts for the participants, and to watch passion being transformed into games.
The game jam stood out from similar events because of the presence of mentors, who helped the beginner teams develop their games.
Congratulations to all participants, and especially to the winners: Wildwestest, Armageddon 2: The Meteor Strikes Back, Beeeeeeeeeeee!!, Very Very Helpful Robot!
