Less than two weeks after its global launch, Medal Hunter is introducing seasons, giving the game a new rhythm of progression and competition. The first of them – the Epic Fury Campaign – opens up a new layer of gameplay, with locations, challenges and objectives revealed progressively as the season unfolds. The seasonal model gives the team greater control over the pace of progression and the release of new content, creating regular reasons for players to return. Epic Fury also launches with a dedicated Battle Pass – an additional progression and rewards track that expands the player journey while adding another building block to Medal Hunter’s long-term monetization model.

Medal Hunter launched globally on July 30 on iOS and Android and is available worldwide in 24 languages. The game’s nine core operations are more than a journey through different conflicts and battlefields. They also serve as a training ground where players learn the game’s mechanics, master different ways of engaging targets, develop their arsenal and build the skills needed to take on increasingly demanding encounters. Players who complete all nine operations and earn at least 1,500 medals are ready to step up to a new level of competition. On August 14, that next level opens with the Epic Fury Campaign – Medal Hunter’s first season.

Epic Fury takes the fight to the Middle East

The Epic Fury Campaign drops players into the middle of a fictional conflict inspired by contemporary events in the Middle East. The operation begins in Danbar in Iran, but that is only the first point on the map. From there, the Campaign moves through the Dubai and Strait of Hormuz – three new locations divided into nine districts. With every new district, the difficulty rises and the stakes get higher.

Players earn Campaign Medals, fight their way into new areas and develop a seasonal arsenal as the operation progresses. Epic Fury also introduces C-RAM, Medal Hunter’s fourth shooting mode. It changes the way players approach combat, demands a new set of skills and adds another layer of variety to the challenges ahead.

The season culminates in Conquest, when the fight moves to individual district leaderboards and the strongest players compete to take control and claim the biggest rewards of the season.

Campaigns are the next deliberately planned stage in Medal Hunter’s development following global launch. This is one of the most sophisticated modes we have built to date, and one where we set a particularly high quality bar across the entire experience – from progression and the pace at which content is revealed to the final competitive phase. We are building the player journey step by step, and we want to develop the wider game in the same way – managing the pace of progression, delivering fresh content regularly and giving players reasons to return. From a long-term product perspective, this is highly important for player engagement, retention and Medal Hunter’s monetization potential,” said Jakub Noganowicz, Product Owner of Medal Hunter and Trophy Hunter.

Seasons in Medal Hunter – 28 days building toward the final Conquest

Every Medal Hunter season has its own rhythm. A Campaign runs for 28 days, but players do not see the entire map on day one. New districts unlock progressively, and access has to be earned by collecting Campaign Medals in earlier battles. The map reveals itself in stages. New objectives emerge, the challenge intensifies and every victory opens the way forward.

Campaign Medals also determine progress through the Battle Pass, creating an additional track of progression and rewards. Once players reach a level, it remains unlocked even if later defeats reduce their Medal count. To advance further, they need to beat their previous best for the season. Every duel matters. It can open the way to another district, another Battle Pass level or new rewards.

Every new district brings players closer to the season’s climax. During the final four days, Conquest begins – the decisive battle for control of the map. All nine districts open up and progression gives way to direct competition for the highest scores. Each district has its own leaderboard, with the top-ranked player taking control.

But the lead has to be defended. If a rival beats the leader’s score, they take the top spot. The balance of power can shift until the final moments of Conquest – only then is it decided who finishes the season on top and walks away with its biggest rewards.

The Campaign ends. The achievements remain. Special distinctions and medals stay permanently on player profiles in the Hall of Fame, building a record of seasons, victories and titles that players can showcase to others.

Epic Fury is the first expression of Medal Hunter’s seasonal model, but future Campaigns can take players to entirely different locations and eras – from conflicts inspired by contemporary events to those rooted in military history. Each season can bring its own scenario, locations, arsenal and challenges. Each can open a new chapter of Medal Hunter and give players a new objective worth returning to the fight for.

Epic Fury boosts Medal Hunter’s visibility

The launch of the Epic Fury Campaign is also backed by increased marketing support for Medal Hunter. Alongside ongoing promotional and user acquisition activity, an influencer campaign is launching around the new season, while the game has also secured additional featuring across major mobile game distribution platforms. The campaign is supported with a video trailer.

Together, these activities are designed to increase Medal Hunter’s visibility and strengthen its ability to reach new players.
