Ten Square Games, has won the Dolnośląski Gryf (Lower Silesian Gryphon) award in the “Environmentally conscious company” category. The 18th edition of the contest awarded the Gryphons during the Grand Business Gala, which took place in late October at the National Forum of Music in Wrocław.

The Lower Silesian Gryphon is one of the most recognized and prestigious contests in the region. In its 18 years of existence, nearly 1800 companies and local government units from the Lower Silesian Voivodeship have taken part. Ten Square Games received the award for their Eco League project. The Gryphons’ jury, made up of members of the scientific, business, and local government communities, appreciated TSG’s innovative approach towards ecology.

— We’re very proud of winning this award. Eco-consciousness is a priority of ours. We’ve been promoting it through specific events aimed at our players and through the Gryphon-winning Eco League, an internal contest for our employees. – Olga Ostrowska, CSR Manager at Ten Square Games, explains.

In the course of the Eco League project, TSG team members collected points for tasks promoting an eco-conscious lifestyle. The company then exchanged these points by planting trees in the newly created Ten Square Games Forest.

— We’re incredibly proud of winning the Lower Silesian Gryphon since it’s a measurable affirmation of the fact that our initiatives make sense. The award also motivates us to continue our efforts both within our team and within our player base. – Olga Ostrowska, who accepted the award on behalf of Ten Square Games at the October 27th Gala, adds.

Ten Square Games S.A. has been a part of the United Nations Global Compact Program since 2020. As a result of that commitment, the company implemented a strategy of limiting its carbon footprint and launched other initiatives aimed at protecting the environment, including the Eco League. The program has become a flagship ESG project within the organization. You can read more about the United Nations Global Compact initiative and Eco League in its latest Yearbook
